Eskadron Recall In Europe?

Hi, I have heard from some people that Eskadrons have been recalled in Europe because they give a horse tendon (suspensory) damage. Has anyone heard anything about this? A vet around where I live made one of the big barns toss out all their eskadrons for this reason. Any information? Thank you.

P.S. - I would like to buy some jumping boots but I don't know the benefits/disadvantages? Fleece, velcro, leather, neoprone....ect. What brands do you guys have? I was thinking shedrow... :) thanks

It's rubbish, all a silly rumour that's got out of hand, started because of this:

That's weird. How are they damaging the tendons? Is it the way they form to the leg that they are pushing the tendons wrong?

I use normal splint boots or Woof Wear galloping/all purpose boots. I also have a pair of Norton open fronts, trying to find matching ankles that aren't from France :(, and they are just like the plain eskadron but cheaper.

Fleece and leather are a pain, you've got to clean the leather ones like tack, and the fleece will get all kinds of things stuck in them. You'll find yourself hand picking the crud out of them every week.
