DO you know where I could find a list of the common tomato grandifolium varieties?

Is there anything else you can tell me about potato-leaved tomato plants?

Is black russian a grandifolium variety?

Thanks.

I've been growing tomatoes for a long time, and that's the first I've ever heard of 'grandifolium variety.' But I do know about 'potato-leaved' tomato plants. These are old heirloom, open-pollinated varieties. One of the most popular among them is Brandywine. Some strains of Brandywine are 'potato-leaved.'

Black Russian is an heirloom, open-pollinated variety. I'm not sure if it is 'potato-leaved,' though. You might want to check with a comprehensive tomato seed catalog like "Totally Tomatoes" ... http://www.totallytomato.com/ .... or do a Google search.
