A troll is someone who joins forums for the sake of annoying others. Some of them go round giving everyone thumbs down, others keep reporting questions or answers to try and get someones account deleted. Others create several different identtites to ask and answer their own questons in order to gain mor points. Basicaly, anyone who does anything unsavoury or which is specifically designed to annoy other users is a troll.

It's internet jargon for people who log onto websites or forums and just say irrelevant things or make up problems to get a laugh or a reaction out of people. These people usually aren't worth noticing. :op
