Climate Change, Have the Russians blown the gaffe?
see this article in the Telegraph raising important questions about the misinformation we are being fed about climate change.
http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/jamesdelingpole/...
2 quotes from the article;
The IEA believes that Russian meteorological-station data did not substantiate the anthropogenic global-warming theory.
What the Russians are suggesting here, in other words, is that the entire global temperature record used by the IPCC to inform world government policy is a crock

I don't think so this movement has considerable momentum of its own. But the wheels are definitely coming off. The review of the emails and computer program continue. Also in addition to the cherry picked Russian data it is coming out that Russia is not the only place they cherry picked the data. And cherry picked data is the possible motive for "losing" the raw data.
The politicians driving this "science" are heavily invested in warming. Even blizzard conditions don't seem to slow them down. But, their timing for these global warming events is quite amusing.
Let's see if next time they pick a warmer climate and during the hotest time of the year.

Have you questioned at all who or what the EIA is? Is it "The Russians"
For what it is worth, it is one guy, Andrei Illarionov. He is a libertarian economist who works in Washington DC for the Cato Institute.
So whether or not he is right, let's read news articles with a little thought and not be mislead by those who are hiding news from you.
The IEA is one economist, not a climatologist, not a scientist. He is Russian, but does not live or work in Russia. Give him whatever credibility you think he deserves, but recognize when you say "the Russian" you are showing that you have a big hook in your mouth. You need to be a bit smarter about what you read.

Something is stinking rotten in Denmark. The socialists and anti-capitalist are having a party in record cold. They think redistributing our wealth to third world cleptocracies is going to change the climate. It might help assuage these psychologically challenged bureaucrats but it isn't going to do squat except harm the American tax payer while providing nothing.

I think Hugo Chavez blew the story when he spent his time in Copenhagen ranting about the evils of capitalism.
