How does AT&T, and other GSM cell phone companies get away with having phones that interfere with electronics?

I just recently switched from Sprint to AT&T and am starting to get awfully annoyed with the interference caused by their phones.

I know the FCC specifically prohibits these devices from interfering with other devices, yet my phone interferes with my speakers, televisions and other devices.

It even interferes with Playstation controllers causing them to go haywire.

Anyone know how they are getting away with this?

It is not a matter of getting away with it. Can you emagine how may eletronic signals are out there in the air. They can get criss crossed for many reasons. Bad weather, other devices, and so on. That's why on an airplane of at the hospital, they ask you to turn your cell or computer off. It happens.
