my refrigerator dispenses water and ice when the freezer door is shut.?
I removed the switch inside the freezer, so that when the door is closed, the water and ice will no longer be dispensed. Do I need a new PC board? Frigidaire FRS26ZSH.

Ice and water on/off is controlled by the light switch in the door jam. If you removed that it will not work anymore. They make it not work while open otherwise ice will fall from the ice maker all over the place. Replace the switch, not the controller board, not if everything else works.
