    Yes and No

Faith is where the Promises and Work of God are made real to His redeemed.

    1. Ephesians 2:8-9, We are saved by faith.

    2. Rom. 1:17, We live by faith.

    3. Rom. 4:13, We receive righteousness by faith.

    4. Rom. 5:1, We are justified in Christ by faith

    5. Rom. 5:2, We have access to God's grace by faith.

    6. 2 Cor. 1:24, We stand firm in our belief by faith.

    7. Gal. 3:14, We receive the promise of the Spirit by faith.

    8. 1 Tim. 1:4, We do God's work is by faith.

    9. Gal. 5:5, We wait for the return of Christ by faith.

    10. Indeed, faith is very important; it is vital to the Christian.

    # as Christians we do have evidence for our faith.

    1.

    1. We have the Bible: 66 books, 40 authors, written in 3 languages, over 1600 years, prophecy, and moral and spiritual truth,

    2. We have the resurrection of Jesus; confidence in His words, and evidence of God's truth in our lives.

    2. The nearest definition we have in the Bible of what faith is is found right here in Hebrews 11:1

    3. The NIV says, "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see."

    4. The KJV and the NKJV say, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

    5. The RSV, NRSV and NASB each says, "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen."

    1. Literally the Greek of Hebrews 11:1 says, "Now faith is the reality of things being hoped for, the proof of things not being seen."

    2. But the English does not carry the full meaning of the verse. That is why it is good to examine several translations of the verse to try to get a better understanding.

An important point, though, is that faith is only as good as the object in which it is placed.

    1. All the faith in the world in someone false won't help you.

Faith is vitally important in the life of the Christian. It is by faith that you are saved; you are justified; cleansed, and look forward to the return of Jesus. Faith is where you please God, admit your dependence upon Him, and continually seek to rely upon Him and His grace. I would like to close by asking you these question: "What has faith changed in your life? What are faith's evidences in your life? Is faith growing in your life.

It is a free gift from Him but you must CLAIM it and then HOLD His teaching

to maintain that FAITH. Faith is not a fickle emotion. It is the Intellect--the

soul. Each soul is to KNOW, to LOVE, and to SERVE God, in the way

which He has commanded His creature to so do. He has not left us orphans.

He shows the way, sent His Son, His Church, His truths, and the Paraclete

    to bring grace and guidance.

Man will not SEEK God without God's prompting. With good will, Man can

hear the prompting in his soul, and the Voice calls Man to know God, to

Love God, and to serve God in this life in order to be with God in all eternity.

That is the essence of Faith. The joy, the hope, the love of God is in the details

Yes, God has given every man the measure of faith. Rom.12:3 The scriptures go on to say that it is not even ours but the faith of Jesus Christ and also another says the faith of the Son of God! Gal 2:16,20.

Faith is to be obtained only through diligent study of God’s Word, the Bible. It is founded in deep love for the Bible and for the God of the Bible, Jehovah, and for his Son, Jesus Christ.

In order to gain and hold on to faith, we need to apply ourselves to building love and appreciation for God’s Word, the inspired Scriptures. The Scriptures are God’s gift to mankind.

Everything is a gift from God seeing as how he created everything outside himself.

Rom 12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think [of himself] more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Yes, faith starts with divine knowledge and its acceptance without physical proof. Man by himself alone cannot attain faith in God.

I tend to believe not only can it be a gift, but for many who have the faith are those whom were reincarnated, and their faith is from there experiences in a past life. I always knew God was God, and I do have memories from past life times. I believe it's past down build within the spirit, and for many who don't or never did believe in God are those whom was redeem for the very first time, God creates new spirits all the time, and for many of them they first need to have spiritual experiences in this or the next life time for they to gain faith.

This is one aspect of my perspective, ascertain from all my experiences from this and past memories of life times.

Yes! And one can obtain a strengthening of that gift by praying the rosary regularly.See the following promises.

    The rosary is explained here:

    http://www.sancta.org/rosary/how.html

The fifteen promises of Mary to Christians who recite the rosary:

    1. Whoever shall faithfully serve me by the recitation of the Rosary shall receive signal graces.

    2. I promise my special protection and the greatest graces to all those who shall recite the Rosary.

    3. The Rosary shall be a powerful armor against Hell, it will destroy vice, decrease sin, and defeat heresies.

    4. It will cause virtue and good works to flourish; it will obtain for souls the abundant mercy of God; it will withdraw the hearts of men from the love of the world and its vanities and will lift them to the desire of eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.

    5. The soul which recommends itself to me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall not perish.

    6. Whoever shall recite the Rosary devoutly, applying himself to the consideration of its sacred mysteries, shall never be conquered by misfortune. God will not chastise him in His justice, he shall not perish by an unprovided death; if he be just, he shall remain in the grace of God and become worthy of eternal life.

    7. Whoever shall have a true devotion for the Rosary shall not die without the Sacraments of the Church.

    8. Those who are faithful to recite the Rosary shall have during their life and at their death the light of God and the plenitude of His graces; at the moment of death, they shall participate in the merits of the saints in Paradise.

    9. I shall deliver from Purgatory those who have been devoted to the Rosary.

    10. The faithful children of the Rosary shall merit a high degree of glory in Heaven.

    11. You shall obtain all you ask of me by the recitation of the Rosary.

    12. All those who propagate the Holy Rosary shall be aided by me in their necessities.

    13. I have obtained from my Divine Son that all the advocates of the Rosary shall have for intercessors the entire Celestial Court during their life and at the hour of death.

    14. All who recite the Rosary are my sons, and brothers of my only Son, Jesus Christ.

    15. Devotion to my Rosary is a great sign of predestination.

    God bless!

    Not at all.

Faith is the result of your parents pushing a belief into your head for 15 years.

Good luck trying to break free from that!

Faith is an prerequisite for belief without evidence.

    Nothing more or less.
