I have a Safer-sex question?

If neither you or your partner is infected with a STD and you BOTH have been checked into the doctor, and they say your negative for everything, is it still possible to get an STD when its only you and your partner for a lifetime? So its not possible to get a STD at all if neither of you have one am i correct?

Note: I'm Gay and Under 18.

    Nope - with one exception.

If one person has oral herpes - which is VERY common, and is NOT considered an STD, they can give their partner genital herpes - which IS considered an STD - if they give them oral sex. Oral herpes is usually spread when the person is having an outbreak (a cold sore) and the risk is quite low when there are no symptoms present.

But in order for someone to catch a disease, their partner must HAVE that disease. Diseases aren't created out of thin air.

    Great question.

yes it is impossible to get it unless your infected with it. say you cut your arm and you fell and somebody that was infected also had a cut and there blood got into your blood then you would be infected also with sharing needles and stuff
