2011 mustang 412 hp 5.0L V8?

it will flat out smoke it!! the 315 hp 2010 mustang keeps up with the camaro!! a 412 hp light weight pony will leave the camaro in the dust!!

I think with this new "coyote" motor, and its lighter weight the mustang should out muscle the Camaro et all. And with the premium interior, it is more sophisticated than the camaro, if not the challenger. Plus, despite the live rear axle, in 'track pack' form it already handily out handles the other two. But this is coming from a mustang owner. I really hope that all three are excellent cars and keep improving to find an edge on each other. If that happens, we the consumer win! And lets not forget the genisis coupe.

I just feel sorry for everyone who bought a 2010!

it will beat the ss, challenger, not doubt. with the last s197's 315 was all it needed to hang with the ss in the 1/4 and street, but once the ss got out of second gear it simply whipped on the gt. and the gt already matches the srt 8.

400+ hp and they weight around like a camaro v6, is plenty enough of force to take the ss owners names and whip it good.

lot of people will still claim no matter what ford does it wont beat the camaro, its the tradition of of the f bodys stomping on the mustangs, but nows it about to change.

i dont know where you got those numbers .but no actual numbers have been releases. they said around 400 hp/trq. but not to the number.btw the 2010 gt is only 1/10th slower than the 100+hp camaro. the ss is done for
