Where in the Constitution is the authority to mandate that Americans buy health insurance?

The Liberal leaders (pelosi) couldn't answer that question when asked either..She just stood there and mumbled.. So how do you expect a bunch of HS or college aged Liberals or wannabes to answer it..

No where in the Constitution at all. Obama and ilk think they are following the Constitution on health care by going under the Commerce Clause. They look for every possible loophole in which to subvert the Constitution.

I sure hope the Supreme Court will be enormously busy if this thing passes. Many lawsuits will be filed.

Liberals don't support the US Constitution. Hussein was supposedly a constitutional law professor at Harvard so he knows exactly what's in the Constitution. The liberals have made their own constitution and they follow that.

This is an empty argument to be using when people are catastrophically ill and can't receive medical care. Or even mildly ill. Is it Constitutional that the D.C. crowd receives the best this country has to offer from the taxpayers. Yet denies these people the same benefit? Nowhere in the constitution does it mandate health insurance, however congress may pass laws that require health insurance as long as that law is not unconstitutional (meaning it does not go against the constitution.)

as nice as that argument would be to use against the liberals, not all laws can be found in the constitution, running a red light or stop sign, is not in the constitution, as well as many out dated laws many states have. they will force us to buy their health care plan sooner or latter its just a matter of time

It's not mandatory to buy car insurance on the federal level. In new hampshire you do not need to buy car insurance to drive a car.
