Is it true that there are more whores in the Senate than on the streets of DC?
Obviously they can all be bought.
Somehow taking 300 million seems the epitome of prostitution. They have no morals.
It would seem that the young Democates that support what is going on, have not lived long enough to be aware of what will happen to this country in the future. It is so sad that so much greed and ignorance was elected into office.

two points:
First, why does it surprise you that politicians exchange favors? This has been going on in this country since before it was a country. One early example of this was the ratifying of the Constitution. Many people wanted to outlaw slavery in the Constitution, but if they did that they would not have the support to ratify it. So they took the part about slavery out so that the rest could get ratified.
Also check out the election of 1876. There were issues with "lost votes" (in Florida ironically enough and some other southern states) so officials were having troubles settling the election. The southern states in question agreed to give it to Rutherford B. Hayes if he would end reconstruction and pull troops, which he ended up doing. Major concession. The terms of reconstruction had not been met, the troops mission was not yet accomplished according to the original objectives and orders. Hayes bought the presidency.
Second point: Nelson's so called "bribe" or "buyout" was the removal of federal money for abortion, unless under the case of incest, rape, or threat to mother's life. This should please Conservatives as well. He also got tens of millions of dollars of medicaid money for his state. His "bribe" was a victory for the people he represents, not himself. Sure it means he will likely get reelected, but the people are the big winners. I think if more politicians received these kinds of "bribes" the people of this country would be better off.

You forgot K Street, Lobbyist Row. There are far more whores there than in the Senate, or any other street in DC, for that matter. It takes 2 to tango. â °)

Being that I lived in Washington D.C.; I would say NO. Sadly the city has many universities and many of the female students earn their college tuition on their backs.
