How can atonement be achieved given that premarital sex is wrong?
It's almost impossible to approach this problem without involving religion, but I'm asking you to ASSUME that the Christian belief in the sin of premarital marriage is valid and that it must be answered for. Given that all sin is equal in the eyes of God (another hot button I know) but that all sin is forgivable, what would be required to atone for the sin? Would a relationship built on the Christian philosophy fail due to the tarnish of the sin? Would penance be a possible method? What constitutes "married"? Does the argument of sin as an act of love justify, even partially, the sin? On what evidence is the fact that premarital sex is a sin based? Could the surrender of your virginity or purity, the inability to offer it to a future lover, be part of the penance? Christians, if you can, please provide biblical evidence for your argument. Non_Christians, please frame your answers in the context of the Christian philosophy. The idea is to gain a perspective based on a specific moral discipline, not to disprove or prove the validity of the discipline.

Try the website below, it shows you the pro-premarital sex stuff in the Bible that your church will never tell you about.

God did not make it a sin, man did, in order to lord over others for indulging in natural behavior. God abhors a virgin, God does not marry people, he made several attempts and a couple of Eves to find a successful mate for Adam to have sex with, Man created the institution of marriage, it defies nature, early christianity was not burdened with all this crap, If a man never sins, he doesn't need a church for salvation and forgiveness, Churches created this sin and many others for power and money, enjoy the loves of your life, God will embrace you.

Have you explored the ramifications of the meanings of your question as they might be considered by the Priests of Ra? Let me hear from you again in four millennia when this too has passed. Meanwhile, if you must insist on visiting such misery upon yourself, please leave the rest of us out. Thanks.
(...no seriously I don't know who puts these crazy ideas in their heads--well I guess I do, but still--could we please stop validating P. T. Barnum?)
Ooh; did I type that or think it? 8^)
