Can I take Day-Quill, I'm 6 weeks pregnant.?
Please help! I have a cold (coughing, sneezing, runny, stuffed up nose) What did you take while you were sick and in your first trimester.

No, you cannot take any medicine. I'm 29 weeks and I've had a few bad headaches. My doctor told me it's okay to only take Tylenol but I've decided not to and dealt with the pains for the sake of my baby. I, too, have a cold. It has gotten better because I've been keeping myself warm, ate plenty of oranges and soup.

No, you can not take NyQuil even dayquil while you are pregnant as it can harm the baby. All you can safetly take is Tylenol. You can also use saline nasal spray as that is just salt water. Use a humidifier at home, breath in steam from a hot shower, put warm compresses on your sinuses- these can all help to loosen things up and give you some relief. Good luck!
No, naproxen sodium is not safe. Tylenol (acetaminophen) is the only pain reliever that is safe.

I have a cold too (my second this pregnancy) and at my appointment on Friday my doctor said there were no safe cold medicines I could take. I suggest calling your doctor. I wouldn't trust any answers on here when it came to the health of my unborn child.

I had a sinus infection around 6 weeks, I called the doctor and the pharmacist and the only thing i was allowed to take was a sinus decongestant. So call your pharmacist and doctor before you take anything and get it approved first.

I don't think you can take that. Call your dr they will have a list of things you can take for colds.
