Why would a woman have difficuly urinating?

When I pee, it feels like I have to "push" or else my bladder does not empty completely. I am 58 years old, and when I think about it, this has been happening for years. I've just recently become more aware of it since we are spending time hiking and it makes it harder to deal with in the open. Any ideas?

Has your bladder dropped? This happened to my good friend and she found out her bladder had dropped which was causing her to not be able to urinate without struggling.

I am 34 and that happens to me sometimes in the morning when my bladder is real full. The feeling like I have to push. Possibly you just need to go more often?
