oaties recipe from years ago, margurite patten?
Desperately looking for a recipe for "oaties" had it on a card in a box by margurite patten (sp?) its like a cake/flapjack with oats sugar butter and golden syrup but need amounts.
Pleeeeease!! only actual answers please as need it asap don't need people saying "don't know" just for points, cheers
also know it had flour in as more like a cake than a flapjack. self raising flour I think.

4oz demerara sugar
4oz butter or marg
3 tablespoons golden syrup
6oz oats
2oz desiccated coconut
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 beaten egg
makes 16
