Conservatives: When will you realize that invoking Nazis to smear Progressives doesn't work?

Now, now! It isn't fair to confuse them!

Once upon a time, long ago, there were sensible, valid conservative IDEAS and ISSUES. But that pretty much died with guys like Jack Kemp and William F. Buckley. Now, they just find slick-sounding words, and let the broadcast slime who speak for them try to peddle the garbage. And it's especially nice if those "facts" are out-and-out LIES.

Like other charlatans, they don't have to convince everyone. Their primary need is to keep their "storm troopers" pumping out hatred.

Because the imbeciles can rely upon their ignorant followers to swallow the huge and ridiculous fraud that Nazis are "left wing" and "liberal"--which ALL the valid, recognized literature makes very clear is NOT the case!--they have worked out their insane fabrications well enough to stick together in their own dimwitted venues, and that's all they care about.

That's right, folks! It's hogwash! Shirer's RISE AND FALL OF THE THIRD REICH, Bullock's HITLER: A STUDY IN TYRANNY, not to mention Speer's INSIDE THE THIRD REICH, and texts by hundred of other researchers, participants, enemies, and researchers, ALL make it very clear the "s" word in the Nazi Party's title was a fraud. After all, they DID come to power in a coalition with all the other conservative/reactionary parties in 1934. And they did murder any leftovers who had left wing thoughts and language in the "Night of the Long Knives".

By the way, these ARE Goebbels' approaches, right out of their literature, so comparing right wing groups to other, older hidebound reactionary movements is really not all that inappropriate...rude, but not entirely inappropriate.

There are enough dummies around who don't read the history to proliferate insane lies from their "pundits" such that they can sell this drivel. And let's face it: after the crap and corruption, they need any weapons they can muster.

They're weak, cowardly losers, and taking away their best scams is downright unfair. Introducing reason, logic, actual historical facts, and concepts of validity and conscience just annoys their semi-literate "spokespigs".

a) There is no 'Conservative' party. You lose more than a couple of 'credibility points' for that one.

b) Few have referred to liberals like Obama as a Nazi, despite the fact that he does share some of their tactics such as asking folks to report on the political opposition of their friends and neighbors (flag@whitehouse.gov) or brutalizing members of the political opposition (Purple shirted SEIU smack down of protesters and Black Panthers waving batons at polling places). Most conservatives I've heard have referred to liberals as socialists or Marxists. This is not a smear, but simply an accurate description of their mindset, philosophy and motives. You may not agree and that's fine, but you are either wrong, in denial or simply do not want to admit it.

c) Next, you need to check the polls. Your president and his democratic congress are disliked and disapproved of by a large majority of Americans. Even by people who originally voted for them. And, given the fact that over 60% of the American people want nothing to do with their health care bill and have had it forced on them anyway, you should not expect this trend to reverse any time soon.

d) We have voiced our opposition with cause and offered alternatives. The fact that you have not heard, or perhaps more accurately have not understood, tells me that you are more about agenda than 'solution'. You're a good little lemming.

However, it's a historical fact that the Nazis took power with the help of German conservatives, and proceeded to persecute liberals as well as Jews, Gypsies, socialists, communists, sexual minorities and the handicapped.

I don't remember ever mentioning Progressives, but I frequently say that the current Congress and Administration spend more money faster than the government ever has before and that it hurts the working class. Taking money out of the private sector by borrowing and taxing causes unemployment by reducing money needed for job growth. That's my primary issue and the solution is fiscal responsibility, not reckless spending.

If you really want socialism to work you're first going to have to admit that men like Hitler are by products of socialism and that you need to accept this in order to make sure it doesn't happen again. Pretending that you're sacrosanct is not going to help your cause or anyone.

One of your most famous and devout socialists, George Orwell, was one of the few who acknowledged this and wanted to do something about it. Read his masterpiece "Animal Farm"

Coming up with a REAL plan would require brains and WORK. As much as the conservatives like to call the liberals lazy, I tend to believe they are the more lazy sort since none seems to have a REAL plan to present. They seem happy with things as they are, especially if since it requires them to do nothing. I don't understand that. If you oppose what Obama is trying to do, fine, but give us a better plan. Since none can do that, they call us names and try to smear every one who doesn't agree with them. It's stupid. Put up or shut up is my mind set lately. I'll listen to REAL ideas. I might not agree but I can respect the attempt.

Liberals:

When will you realize that banning or outlawing everything you don't like is wrong?

When will you realize that some people want to kill you just because you're there and that you need a miltary to prevent them from doing that?

When will you realize that men and women are made to fit together and forcing heterosexual people into accepting your behavior through law will never make you feel more accepted, less guilty, or the bullslaza that homosexuality is a trait (the latest buzzword) and not a choice honest?

When will you realize that you should have some modicum of integrity and balls?

When will you realize that you can't give value and desire to achieve to people by handing them free money you fleece from people struggling to succeed?

Right because the conservatives were the ones calling Bush a Nazi and Hitler. Nope!

Lies and stooping to the lowest levels. You just described exactly what is going on right now within your own band of indoctrinated idiots. But your right, another approach would be easier. Unfortunately we can't just shoot them.
