I need some help understanding my eyeglasses prescription!?

Question

I got my eye exam and i told the eye doctor that i was going to buy my glasses online, he suggested a site that i found has great prices (zennioptical.com). So i go to the site and when i go to put in my prescription, The options available arent exactly what i have written on my prescription. I dont want to order glasses that dont work. I also discovered that their are different ways to write out a prescription. So i need some clarity. Thie is exactly what i have written on my prescription:

OD   Sph -325   Cyl -50   Axis 072
OS   Spy -325   Cyl -50   Axis 073

Now when i go to select and option like Sph on the site, ther is no -325, the closest is -3.25 is this the same? For cyl there was no -50 option the closest is  -0.50. And the most confusing one is the axis, there is no option for 072 or 073, the numbers go from 0 to 180. So is 072 the same as 72?

- 325 is the same as - 3.25...

the decimal points and extra 0's don't mean anything. We don't always write the decimal points because we know they are there anyway, same as the 0 before the number...

-50 is -0.50...072 is 72...

You already guessed it all right.

-3.25 is the correct Rx for the sphere.  The doctor simply didn't write in the decimal point.
-0.50 is the correct Rx for the cylinder (cyl).  Again, the doctor simply didn't write the decimal.
Yes, 072 is the same as 72.

You seem to be missing the decimal points. This may be just the way your doctor wrote it.  Just checked mine and the Decimal points are there.

Sphere -325 is -3.25
Cylinder -50 is -0.50 
And Axis 072 is 72 degrees.
