Technical Reason: Does faith cause irresposibility? When you "assign power to God", this happens:?

When you say:

"Its all because of God..."

"God is everything and Im nothing..."

"If you want something good to happen, just pray..."

You minimize your own power and shackle your own self. This is actually irresponsibility. One is saying "It has nothing to do with me". Isnt this like taking your hands off the wheel while driving?

Yes, it's funny given how often atheists are accused of simply disbelieving in order to somehow avoid moral responsibility, which in reality is completely unfounded.

Satan is a very convenient excuse for personal wrongdoings, and praying is a convenient way to avoid having to put forth any real effort to help yourself or others.

In a sense, it is irresponsibility. It shows a serious lack of self confidence and trust in oneself. Because of this belief in god, people loose the desire to fight for things they might ordinarily strive for. Success, wealth, and something as pure as simple happiness. The belief in god and his power is nothing more than a crutch. It is easier for 'believers' to think that the journey we are on is out of our control..thus they don't have to take any blame for it's failures. Of course, we have free will to make the decisions we make, but if it is in 'gods plan', we can just go about our day knowing that when we die, all will be made right. When we die, we are dead. Final answer.

I choose to fail or succeed and despite what turns my journey may take, I am ultimately responsible for the chain of events and/or outcome.

    You are wrong and correct.

Most people do not discern the Lord's body but rather in a cookie or wafer in their communion.

The Body and blood of Christ hanging on the tree two thousand years ago is what is meant here remembrance of me, that One time offering of Christ body and blood. When it is remeembered, we are showing forth His death til He comes.

This is a Covenant practice celebrating the Lord's Table; It signifies His death and we are showing forth that death, and the reason why the anointing of the Spirit ois upon every promise, that Paul declare; " All the promises of God are yes, and in Him Amen. This faith which has its origin in God is not irresponsible, it is the sureity of the New Testament, see what Paul said " For as often as you eat of this bread and drink of this cup; you do show forth the Lor'd's death til He comes" 1 Corinthians 11: 26, If we don't understand COVENANT , The point will be overlooked, AND YOU WILL PRACTICE SOMETHING IN VAIN WITHOUIT ANY VIRTUE IN IT, AND JUST MAN'S TRADITION AND VAIN HOPE. There is no sacrificing here, no sacraments. Sacraments imply sacraficing, and alters the point, of remembering the LORD's body and blood. In saraments it is you and making an offering and not the ONE time offering of Jesus of Himself, in remebrance of Him. Hebrews 10: 12, 14

It really doesn't mater how the catholic church defends there position, sacraments is not the teaching nor thought here, in this passage of scripture. Notice Hebrews 10:1-4 now we know that if the offering made under the system of law could take away sin as pertaing to the conscience then they would have cease to be offered, but there is evidently a remembrance of sin again every year, Now her ei the point i'm want to "magnify" If the LORD's table was one of sacrafices, in sacraments being the two elements wien and oil, why then should they offten as they take their perception of the LORD'S TABLE, sacraments (sacraficing) and not rather then fixing your mind and heart in REMEBRANCE LOOKING TO THAT oNE TIME OFFERING OF HIS BODY ON THE CROSS YEARS AGO. LOOK up the word transsubstaiation, and see what they are doing.

The answer to why we should and do declare the Lord's death til He comes, is answered to them who know not of Covenant, is Hebrews 9: 16-17 "For where a Testament (Covenant, will and Testament) is ; there is of necessity, the death of the Testator ( the will and Testament of the Will) otherwise it is of no strength at all while the Testator lives.

Now if i take this truth away and make the Lord's table someting else; for this reason Paul says for not discerning the lord's body correctly eat and drink to damnation, unworthily manner and also not discerning the strength of salvation deliverance and redemption, from the works of the devil. May are weak and sickly and die prematurely, 1 Corinthians 11: 27-30 and that according to the promise of 120 years, Check it out if in doubt.

There is only one way to not having the virtue the promises of God speaks too, and that is unbelief, and unbelief comes in two forms ignrance and the sin of unpersuadableness

Philippians 4:13 says: "I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me." It doesn't say "Jesus can do all things", but instead implies a certain level of responsibility on our part. Though God gives us the ability to do good things, we still have to get off our butts and do them. He's not going to clean up our messes; what kind of Father would He be if He did? Children have to learn to do things for themselves, even if it's the parents who teach them how and give them the resources to succeed.

So really, we're just giving credit where credit is due. People who expect God to do everything for them are setting themselves up for disappointment.

It is not faith which causes irresponsibility but rather the interpretation of faith.

If you think that your decision is predetermined by God, change your mind.

I don't think that most people who believe in God would blame him/her or even talk like you did.

God has prepared a path for you, it's still your choice to walk on it.
