Im feelin' a bit random and the "god patent" thing sparked curiousity as to what you would name a soft drink along those lines and ... well, would you buy it just for kicks (or perhaps seriously - whatever floats your boat..)

you know, "Holy smokes Corp. unveiled its latest sports drink to the public this afternoon, "Jumpin' Jesus in a can" - giving you 7.7 hours of unparalleld energy - enough to stand up and defy the Roman empire or trump Michael Jordan on the court!!!..."

You minimize your own power and shackle your own self. This is actually irresponsibility. One is saying "It has nothing to do with me". Isnt this like taking your hands off the wheel while driving?

Ive got these: 1) At Makaha (Oahu West coast) I got pitched right onto the reef shelf and felt my ribcage give as I hit the edge of the shelf. 2) In '92 I went over the falls at "Off the Wall" (next to Pipe) preacher seat style and wracked my family jewels on the reef. ..and

3) In '96 I made a waterproof housing for my video camera out of plywood and thick plexi-glass. I was filming at Sandies, lost grip, went over the falls and landed on the camera - Stitches, blood and an ambulance ride. I still have the footage off getting my head wrapped by lifeguards, being wheeled into th hospital on the gurney - kinda funny.

You know, like those science labs where youre measuring the volume of a liquid...

Isnt mankind at large "asleep" more or less and this is the real reason for all the "religious war" and all this aparent conflict - whereas if he were much more sentient, the "apparent differences" between "atheist" and "Christian" (and other religions) would be reconciled?

- at least those who had their head on their shoulders would breathe a sigh of relief???

Anyone see how this relates to R/S? There is a difference between knowing something with certainty and then....well,... just ...OMG!?!? your off the deep end - but isnt that BELOW blindness?

Im curious to see who out there thinks what when it comes to this:

How long do you guys think beings have been around? Definition: "being" - a person / conciousness / awareness which is the personality - with or without a body.

Some people think that they are a 1-life animal and when they die its game over.

Some Christian doctrine seems to suggest that Earth and all spirits (beings) started just 6,000 years ago and before that there was nothing.

Some people believe they arent spiritual at all, but instead consist of various chemical components only.

Some believe we've been going since a long LONG time ago.

Im curious what you guys think. Im in the last category, personally. Reincarnation makes more sense to me. As far as when we started, I could only say it would have to be "before the begining of the physical world".

Whatcha think?
