What transportation is available to get from Philadelphia International Airport to the sports complex?

I need some advice from any Philly residents here.

Next week I'll be flying into Philadelphia International Airport in South Philly. My hotel is located within the sports complex.

What form of transportation should I use to get from the airport to the sports complex?

Does the airport have a shuttle service? If not- How much is a taxi?

What do you guys think I should do?

The airport is not in Southwest Philly as someone said. It is actually in Delaware county, just outside the city.

However, I do agree on the cab option. Roughly $20.00.

Well the airport isn't in South Philly. It's more like Southwest Philly since it's on the other side of the Schuylkill.

None of the hotels in the sports complex area will have shuttle service to the airport. Any public transit options are going to be headed more towards Center City then you'll have to back down to South Philly. With a tip, a cab will probably cost between $15 and $20 as it's only a 6 mile trip.

Actually it is only partly in Delco. I know because I've worked there. Best bet for the ride? The cheap option is the SEPTA (public transit bus). The route 37 runs from the airport to Broad & Snyder st. From there You can take the Subway or C bus south to the sports complex for less than $5. A There should be a hotel shuttle for the Holiday INN stadium hotel at the Airport. A phone for a shuttle is in the baggae claim area for all terminals.

I would take a cab, its a lot less hassle. Get ready for some GREAT food.
