no, you can't install vista on a ps3. Its not that easy. The PS3 has 512mb of ram, vista needs AT LEAST 1GB to run and no you can't install more. By the way, vista will have compatibility issues with things such as the processor which was made for macs and no you cannot install mac on a ps3 either. Some other issues youll run into are video, audio, network card drivers, i doubt you'd be able to install any version of windows or mac. And remember not all linux versions work on ps3s, search up the linux versions that do work on ps3s and download them and btw don't download Live CDs (those won't install)

No, you won't be able to run PC games with Linux on your PS3.

Don't try to install Vista, it is not compatible with the PS3, and the PS3 does not have enough RAM to run it:)

collectively as that's theoreticaly plausible to play pc video games on a Linux PS3 there isn't any contemporary way. there is an application spoke of as Cedega which permits you play homestead windows video games with Linux on a working laptop or pc yet to the better of my know-how there isn't any PS3 construct of it to permit you to do it on a PS3. yet with the aid of distinctive CPU shape we will not see a PS3 construct of Cedega for particularly it sluggish
