I discovered that I was sinful. I knew that evil existed and good existed, but I didn't understand why some were good and some were evil. I realized that it was sin in their life that made them evil. I also knew I had sin in my life. I trusted in Jesus Christ's free gift of salvation to earn my holiness before God. He made a radical change in my life. My desires changed I no longer want to do the things I did before. I now feel like I have hope, peace, and love that no one can take away. The Christian life is very difficult but also rewarding to know that we have a future in heaven with our Lord.

I decided to become a Christian when I was 18 years old. I started going to church with someone I was very close to. I was inspired by the stories and what you could learn from them and how kind everyone was. I liked the community and support system. At first everything felt good and pure and spiritual.

Then I felt like Christianity didn't take me far enough and that there were too many holes in the Christian religion. The more I studied over the years and the more I learned, the less believable the entire thing became and the less complete the lessons became.

I was about 21 years old when I discovered Buddhism. They worked on being a good person, they helped you with your physical health, mental health - it was complete. It is all the good lessons from Christianity but completed with caring about your entire being.

I am no longer a Christian and I don't conform to rules and regulations set by a church - I'm just a good spiritual person.

I was inspired by a neighbor who also happened to be the church youth pasteur. I think he exemplifies Christian spirit through his compassion, generosity, and showing of Christ's love. Up to that point, I believed in God, however, I did not lead a Christian life.

Since I have started to follow Christ's teachings, my marriage has improved, my circle of friends has increased, my relationships with my extended family have become very solid, and I have become a better man for it.

I converted from a life of selfishness, realizing I was missing something in my life. God has called me to be a teacher in the Body of Christ, and has used me in that capacity since 1988. My heart is compassionate towards all, especially young Christians who are eager to learn the word of God, and not be deceived by every wind of doctrine, but build the word of God in their spirit, and be a vessel of honor unto God, and a blessing unto man.

Well, I gave up on Christianity, and came back because I believe God saved my life. I don't know if that counts, though.

Tried everything else. Jesus was the only thing that worked.

I was born into a Catholic family and couldn't find rationality in my faith until I removed it's pagan baggage.
