I am a christian, and believe the word of God. My answers will come from my knowledge and understanding that God has and is given me.

  • What is a powerful weapon in the hand of any Christian?

I need one specific answer to reward someone with the points; and there is more than 1 possible answer. I'll even give a clue; there is a promise connected with this weapon! I can't say any more than this, but I am excited to hear the possible answers! :) PS Take your time with the answer; a quick answer requires no thought, and will probably be wrong.

  • Does the land of Israel belong to the Israelites?

Did God promise Israel the land in the bible? Please read Ezekiel 36:2-11, and I will share verse 24 now with you: Ezekiel 36:24 says this; " For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land. • Research question: Who raised Jesus from the dead?

Please read the scriptures BEFORE you answer, because the answer is much different than you think. For all who don't believe in the trinity ( or Godhead, as the bible says ). the answer to this question will help you. Best and most informed answer wins 10. Here are the scriptures: John 2:19&21, John 10:17-18, Acts 2:24, Romans 8:11, 1 Corinthians 6:14, and Ephesians 1:20.

  • Why do some people ask questions, only to block the truthful answer?

What are they afraid of? If they can't handle hearing the truth, then why ask a question, and then block the response? Getting the last word doesn't make you right.

  • This question is for all who believe all sin is equal: so what about?

this verse in John 19:11? Jesus Himself said this, so all sins are not created equal. Some are called abominations ( Leviticus 18:22 and Proverbs 6:16-19 ), and others are called sin. There are obviously different degrees of sin, or John 19:11 wouldn't make sense. Anyone know any other scriptures that mention greater or lesser sin? Thanks in advance.

  • Does anyone truly believe in praying the rosary?

I am posting the rosary for you to see it, but am also stating it is never mentioned in the bible, so it is a false teaching the Church should avoid. You cannot pray to Mary, but only to the Father in the name of Jesus ( see John 16:23-24 ). Search the scriptures, and you will see praying the rosary is never mentioned ( Acts 17:11 ).

The fifteen promises of Mary to Christians who recite the rosary:

    1. Whoever shall faithfully serve me by the recitation of the Rosary shall receive signal graces.

    2. I promise my special protection and the greatest graces to all those who shall recite the Rosary.

    3. The Rosary shall be a powerful armor against Hell, it will destroy vice, decrease sin, and defeat heresies.

    4. It will cause virtue and good works to flourish; it will obtain for souls the abundant mercy of God; it will withdraw the hearts of men from the love of the world and its vanities and will lift them to the desire of eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.

    5. The soul which recommends itself to me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall not perish.

    6. Whoever shall recite the Rosary devoutly, applying himself to the consideration of its sacred mysteries, shall never be conquered by misfortune. God will not chastise him in His justice, he shall not perish by an unprovided death; if he be just, he shall remain in the grace of God and become worthy of eternal life.

    7. Whoever shall have a true devotion for the Rosary shall not die without the Sacraments of the Church.

    8. Those who are faithful to recite the Rosary shall have during their life and at their death the light of God and the plenitude of His graces; at the moment of death, they shall participate in the merits of the saints in Paradise.

    9. I shall deliver from Purgatory those who have been devoted to the Rosary.

    10. The faithful children of the Rosary shall merit a high degree of glory in Heaven.

    11. You shall obtain all you ask of me by the recitation of the Rosary.

    12. All those who propagate the Holy Rosary shall be aided by me in their necessities.

    13. I have obtained from my Divine Son that all the advocates of the Rosary shall have for intercessors the entire Celestial Court during their life and at the hour of death.

    14. All who recite the Rosary are my sons, and brothers of my only Son, Jesus Christ.

    15. Devotion to my Rosary is a great sign of predestination.

  • Question for all atheists; How much do you really know?

Consider science, and all the knowledge in the universe. How much knowledge do you think you possess considering the vastness of the entire universe? Considering we know so little of all the knowledge out there, don't you realize what you don't know could involve the truth that God is real, and Jesus is the Savior of the world?

  • Calling All Christians, Are You Ready?

Are you ready to do battle against the enemy? Are you ready to fight the good fight of faith? I sense the arm of the Lord is being stretched out against Satan and his strongholds ( Exodus 15:16-18 ). Satan is desperate, that is the reason he is trying so hard to stop us. Attacks against us personally, attacks against our finances, and our families and churches. The Lord is breathing new life into His Body, and we are advancing on Satan's strongholds, and are pulling them down one by one. Don't give up now, but press in. We have God's armor ( Ephesians 6:10, 13-18, and God's promise that we have the victory ( 1 John 5:4 ); we have the angel of the Lord encamping round about them that fear Him, and delivers them ( Psalm 34:7 ). Again I ask, are you ready? Read these scriptures, and be encouraged in the Lord ( 2 Chronicles 20:12-17, 21-25. Verse 22 says And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah, and they were smitten. Our enemies are not people, but Satan and his demons ( Ephesians 6:12 ). I encourage all Christians, praise and worship the Lord, and watch the hand of the Lord work mightily on your behalf. Your families will be saved, your finances will be healed and increase, and the joy of the Lord will increase your strength. This is our year of favor, and we will experience joy and fulfillment as God pours out abundant blessings on His children. Will you answer God's call to arms? He will go before us; who can be against us ( Isaiah 52:7-10 )? Read Isaiah 40:29-31 and be blessed.

  • Why ask a question, if you can't handle an honest answer?

Why do people ask a question concerning homosexuality, and then have the answer deleted because they don't like it? I have had many questions considered hate questions, and I have answered them with the word of God. When I answer a question about homosexuality, I always use God's word ad my response. If you can't handle the answer, why ask the question. Why are homosexuals so sensitive about their lifestyle, if it is normal? Please answer this without getting it deleted: I'm not hating on homosexuals, but homosexuality is not normal to God or nature, and I am sorry many are bound by it. God wants everyone to live and enjoy life, and He has said in His word how we can. Jesus is the only way to enjoy life, and live it to the full ( John 10:10 ).

  • Question for all Yahoo R&S users?

My question is, how many of you get offended when someone questions what you believe ( or not )? Can someone ask a question, or question your religion, without getting their answer or question deleted because it offended someone? If not, how will you ever talk about your beliefs outside of Yahoo, if you can't handle criticism, or the anger or rage someone may have towards your religion, or God? Someone please tell me why questions and answers, that are not directed at anyone personally, and are not vulgar or nasty, get deleted so easily. Thank you all for your responses.

  • Why should we, as Christians, stand against homosexuality?

Homosexuality is an abomination against God, and even goes against the natural use of the opposite sex. Two cities were completely destroyed for homosexuality, because the whole city was given over to it. It is the Christians who have the power and authority with God to stop this from spreading across our land. If we don't stop it, God won't, because He gave us the authority to stop the devil and his agenda. I thank God this Christmas day for all the Christians on Yahoo, and let it be known that I am standing with you against Satan and his kingdom, and we will see the Kingdom of God continue to advance and increase, and millions of souls will be won for the Lord in the year of 2010. God bless you all with wisdom, revelation knowledge, and understanding as you seek the Lord. Philippians 3:10 is my Christmas present from God, and it will never end!

  • Question to all, why is it ok to tell children about Santa, but not God?

Ok, the world tells children about Santa, and when they get old enough, they find out it is a lie. Why doesn't the world ( and especially atheists ) not tell their children about God, but have no problem telling them the lie about Santa? Even if God is a lie ( which I believe He is not, but is real ), why can't atheists, and even other religions, not tell their children about God? Don't you believe they will make the same choice about God that they do about Santa?

  • All atheists, would you believe in God if there is proof of His existence?

I have found proof that God and His word are true. God spoke through His prophets over 2000 years ago that Israel would again become a nation, and it came to pass in May of 1948. No other religion can claim this, but God said it in His word. Do you still need proof, or do you have to see Jesus in the now to believe?

  • Christians, how is Jesus?

This may seem like a strange question, but bear with me. I have an answer and a journey for us. In 1 John 4:17 the word says, herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: BECAUSE AS HE IS, SO ARE WE IN THIS WORLD. Break this part down and see what it says. Here is our homework, to search the word and find out as He is, present tense, not how He was, or even will be. Once we see how He is, we can connect so are we, because John was writing to believers, just read chapter 1. I'll give some observations of as He is. First, He is glorified ( for comparison, see Isaiah 60:1-5 ). Second, He is risen ( see Colossians 3:1-4 ). He is all powerful ( see Matthew 28:18-20 ).Look what He did ( John 14:12, see where we are in this verse ). Now comes the journey. Do what 2 Timothy 2:15 says, and be a Berean ( see Acts 17:11 ). We are called to be kings and priests in this earth, with Jesus as the King of kings, and He is our High Priest ( Hebrews 3:1 ). See the last part of 1 John 4:17. Where are we as He is? In this world. Right now, but we must wrap our faith around who we are in Christ Jesus, and do what He has called us to do. The sooner we do this, the quicker He can come and take us off this planet, and countless millions with us, who are still lost. Be warned though, Satan will fight to keep this revelation from you, so gird up your loins, and put on the full armor of God, so you will be able to stand ( Ephesians 6:10-18 ). I love all you guys and gals, saved and unsaved. Christians, be encouraged, we are winning, or else why is the devil trying so hard to stop us?

  • Christians, who are we in this world?

This posting is to encourage all christians, because we are in a spiritual war, and have already won in God's eyes. Our battle is not with flesh and blood ( Ephesians 6:12 ), even though we have to deal with people every day. I'm going to share scriptures with you, because we are the army of God, and are strong in the Lord, and the power of His might ( Ephesians 6:10 ). No weapon formed against us shall prosper ( see the rest of Isaiah 54:17 ), because greater is He that is in us, than he ( Satan ) that is in the world ( 1 John 4:4 ). We are more than conquerors through Him that loves us ( Romans 8:37 ). We can do all things through Christ ( translated the Anointed One and His anointing ) which strengthens us ( Philippians 4:13 ). We are ambassadors for Christ ( 2 Corinthians 5:18-21 ). We have the mind of Christ ( 1 Corinthians 2:16 ). Now, to put the sword in the devil's heart and twist it: Jesus said, he that believes on Me, the works that I do he shall do also; and GREATER works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father ( John 14:12 ). Here is very strong meat for all christians: 1 John 4:17 says because AS HE IS, SO ARE WE IN THIS WORLD. God bless every christian with wisdom, revelation knowledge, and understanding: be bold and courageous, we are more than we ever imagined in Christ Jesus, and God is preparing to unleash His anointing in this earth like never before in history.

  • Can an incurable disease be cured?

I know what christians believe, or should believe, but what about everyone else? All people invited, and All I'll do is explain my stand, and leave this open for all answers. Christians believe God alone can cure any disease, whether it be cancer, leprosy, aids, etc, and even raise someone from the dead which a disease caused. God said that the name of Jesus is above every name, including these I have listed and all I haven't. For anyone who wants to know, the references for this are listed here: Ephesians 1:21, Philippians 2:9-11, Revelation 19:16, and some of the scriptures promising healing any disease; Psalm 103:3, Psalm 107:20, Matthew 9:35, Matthew 10:8 ( Jesus' command to His disciples ), Matthew 12:15, Matthew 21:22, Mark 11:22-24. and Mark 16:17-18.

  • To everyone: Do you believe in love?

This is not a question about seeing, but about what love is. Do you atheists believe in love? Just wanted to share this in 1 John 4:7-8 which says that love is of God, and verse 8 says God is love. Doesn't that mean that you really do believe in God? I realize you will say you don't believe the bible, but don't you understand that God is the One who gave us the desire to love others and be loved ourselves? That is why nothing in life fills the void that only Jesus can fill.

  • All atheists and unbelievers, I'm trying again, can you see time?

Please everyone, this is not to insult anyone, and you don't need to insult me. Let's just answer the questions, and if we don't have an answer, we can say we don't know. There is a lot I don't know too. Time cannot be seen, but you can see the effects of it, and it can be measured by a clock, but still cannot be seen physically. All I'm trying to do is get you to understand Just because you can't see something, doesn't mean it isn't real. That's all. I know you are intelligent, that is why I am asking, so you will use that intelligence to understand where I am coming from. Sorry if you felt like I insulted you, didn't mean it that way.

  • To all atheists, is air real?

This may seem like a dumb question, but hear me out. Don't give a stupid answer, it will only show your lack of intelligence. Do you believe air is real, and why? You can't see air, even wind. You can see the results of wind, but not the wind itself. Does that mean it isn't real because you can't see it? This question is for all who think they are wise, and please don't talk about the components of air, that is not the question. You say we believe in a God we cannot see, and you are right. But like air, is He not real because we can't see Him? Look around, you can see the creation, His effects. Look at torn up homes and trees, and you will see the effect of a tornado, but the air cannot be seen. By faith you believe the air you breathe is real, and at the same time don't believe in the One who gave you the lungs to breathe it. Just as real ( and even more so ) is the love of God towards us. You can't see it, but it is real, just like your love towards others, a boyfriend, girlfriend, or family. Love cannot be felt physically, does that mean it isn't real? Just think about your answer a moment before you give it, and we will see how wise you are. Feel free to invoke science for this one, I am curious to see if there is a real answer.
