What is a powerful weapon in the hand of any Christian?

The Bible states that Christians have to be alert "in order that Satan might not outwit us, for we are not unaware of his schemes." (2 Corinthians 2:11) And we are told to "Put on the full armour of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, the authorities, the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." (Ephesians 6:10-12).

It then lists the spiritual protection we can 'cover' ourselves with, and the one weapon of our spiritual warfare is "the Sword of the Spirit which is the word of God." (verse 17)

Galatians 3:14 states "that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit". So we exercise faith in the promises of God when we use this 'Sword of the Spirit', the word of God. AiH

The armour which we are given is all defensive.

The Sword of the Spirit is not to be used offensively but defensively.

This sword is for discerning truth and if need be removing an enemy, but it is not the Truth. Many like to use the Truth or their version of it as a weapon. The Truth is a girdle--that is it is kept close and holds everything else in.

God is our best weapon--He promises to defend us and fight for us---as long as we are keeping His commandments. A study on the word "keep" shows it is more like guarding, protecting--we have great responsibility toward's God and He promises that as long as we do these things we will never fail.

Well when jesus was tempted by satan he repeated 3 words which are "it is written" " it is written" "it is written" one example would be when satan told him to turn the stones into bread to end his fast and eat jesus said it is written man does not live by bread alone but from every word that comes from the mouth of God, then he told him to bow down and worship him jesus replied away from me satan for it is written worship The Lord your god only. Also Hosea 4:6 reads my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge so I would have to say a christians most powerful weapon is scriptures Gods words, it can also be prayer jesus encourages prayer alot so prayer can also be a christians powerful weapon

A powerful weapon? Easy ....a deep knowledge and understanding of "factual reality". When any Christian reaches this stage of spiritual and factual insight it means ............ they are no longer Christians with a "belief" in ancient superstitions.

Easy .... a willingness to passively accept, without question, Christianity brainwashing. This gives you the experience to commit the same crime of conversion against other poor, gullible people. It's a sure fire way to get converts. VERY powerful".

A .44 Magnum and a streetsweeper shotgun would probably make your day. It's hard to beat a basic outright lie backed with fear from threats of punishment, though. Depends upon what sort of impact you'd like to make.
