Research question: Who raised Jesus from the dead?

Please read the scriptures BEFORE you answer, because the answer is much different than you think. For all who don't believe in the trinity ( or Godhead, as the bible says ). the answer to this question will help you. Best and most informed answer wins 10. Here are the scriptures: John 2:19&21, John 10:17-18, Acts 2:24, Romans 8:11, 1 Corinthians 6:14, and Ephesians 1:20.

Update:

For those who disbelieve, never mind. For others who want the truth, I will write them out: Romans 8:11 - But if the Spirit ( Holy Spirit ) of Him that raised Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you. Acts 2:24 - Whom God has raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that He should be held by them ( the pains of death ). 1 Corinthians 6:14 - And God has both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by His own power ( Ephesians also says God raised up Jesus ). John 2:19&21 - Jesus answered and said unto them, destroy this temple, and in three days I ( Jesus ) will raise it up. Verse 21 says He spoke of the temple of His body. In John 10:17-18 Jesus says the Father gave Him the commandment to raise up His body from the dead. Read and meditate, the answer is in front of you. I'll give you another clue: Genesis 1:2-3.

Update 2:

To help Taffygirl, Jesus said destroy this temple, the Jews didn't hear Him, and said Jesus said He would destroy this temple. It's all about hearing what the word of God actually says. Jesus said those who have ears to hear, hear what the Spirit is saying to the Churches. Christians have ears to hear!

All persons of the triune Godhead were involved in the raising of Jesus from the dead, just as all three persons of the Godhead are involved in all things, creation, salvation, conforming us to the image of Christ etc. The triune nature of God cannot be divided, our God is ONE God.

The answer is obvious. Jesus IS God and he raised himself up. 1 Timothy 3:16, 1 John 3:16, 1 John 5:7. No one wants to believe it, but it's true. They want to divide him into three separate persons, three separate Spirits, two people, etc. The truth is Christian Monotheism. One God with one Spirit.

Jesus is the only God we will ever see. Read these scriptures:

    Acts 20:28

    John 10:30

    Colossians 2:8-10

    1 John 5:20

    John 20:28

    2 Corinthians 4:6

    Isaiah 9:6

    John 1:1,14

    Jude v.25

If ye believe not that I am He, ye shall die in your sins. John 8:23,24.

    Just with John 2:19-22:

By what he here said, did Jesus mean that he would resurrect himself from the dead? Does that mean that Jesus is God, because Acts 2:32 says, “This Jesus God raised up”? Not at all. Such a view would conflict with Galatians 1:1, which ascribes the resurrection of Jesus to the Father, not to the Son. Using a similar mode of expression, at Luke 8:48 Jesus is quoted as saying to a woman: “Your faith has made you well.” Did she heal herself? No; it was power from God through Christ that healed her because she had faith. (Luke 8:46; Acts 10:38) Likewise, by his perfect obedience as a human, Jesus provided the moral basis for the Father to raise him from the dead, thus acknowledging Jesus as God’s Son. Because of Jesus’ faithful course of life, it could properly be said that Jesus himself was responsible for his resurrection.

Says A. T. Robertson in Word Pictures in the New Testament: “Recall [John] 2:19 where Jesus said: ‘And in three days I will raise it up.’ He did not mean that he will raise himself from the dead independently of the Father as the active agent (Rom. 8:11).”—(New York, 1932), Vol. V, p. 183.

OK... yes, in John 2:18&19 it says Jesus will destroy the temple & raise it up in 3 days, then in John 10 :17 Jesus says HE has control over himself... God gave him the power to rise from the dead. "For my Father has given me command over this"...it sounds a bit confusing, but it really isn't.

In Acts, the power of God is confirmed: God released him form the horrors of death and raised him back to life again.

Jesus has the same power as God the Father. God sent his Holy Spirit over Mary to conceive Jesus.. that same spirit stayed with him & is also in us who believe in him....

    The fulness of God.

Because of Jesus Christ Soul Righeousness, He raised from the dead.

Because the Father & the Holy Spirit raised Jesus flesh from the dead.

So Yahweh Elohim (the fulness of God) raise Jesus from the dead.

If you believe in God and what the bible says, then Jesus raised himself up.

The concept of the trinity (Godhead? that's a new one on me, but o.k...) indicates that Jesus and the Holy Ghost are God

God raised Jesus from the dead

    Jesus is God

    Then Jesus did it himself.

Romans 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
