  • Does anyone know of any low stress jobs?

I'm looking for a new job where I won't have to answer a phone or deal with people. Are there any low stress jobs I can look for? Any suggestions?

  • Question about receiving the Holy Spirit? Need opinions from others who were baptized at infancy.?

A protestant lady told me my baptism didn't count because I was baptized when I was a baby. She said I was not "born again," that babies don't receive the Holy Spirit. She said a person is supposed to be older to learn and make the choice. According to the bible being born again is baptism. So, what is she talking about? I asked, "If you don't receive the Holy Spirit through baptism then how else can you receive it?" I never got a straight answer. I would hate to think that my mother would allow the devil to dwell in me until I decide. I'm glad my mother took Christian responsibility for me and had me baptized at 37 days old to rid the devil out of me. Because: Matthew 19:14 But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” Plus, why would I have to choose when Jesus chose me? As it is written in John 15:19 If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Is it not God's will that I was baptized at all? Is it not just as valid that divine intervention did not prevent me from being baptized as a baby? How can protestants be right when they came after Orthodox and Catholic Christianity?

  • Are Jehovah's Witnesses a form of Judaism?

They believe in Jehovah but, they don't believe in Jesus Christ. Wouldn't they be a Gentile sect of the Jewish faith?

  • Are atheists closet believers?

Why do they cry the loudest with, "god doesn't exist" on a religion & spirituality site? Are they trying to convince themselves they don't believe? 'Cause telling us Christians, "god doesn't exist" is not talking us out of believing?

  • Atheists, why are you bothered the most by Christ?

Why are you bothered the most by Christians? If Christ doesn't exist, why does it bother you? Why does the thought that some else believes in Christ bother you so much? Why blaspheme that which you believe doesn't exist? Why waste your breath vocalizing against something you believe isn't there?

Matthew 12:30 (New King James Version)

30 He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad.

  • Atheists, how can you oppose God and claim God doesn't exist?

How can you oppose something you claim isn't there? Don't you think you're getting worked up over nothing?

    26 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade ago
  • Since atheists claim God doesn't exist, wouldn't they view us Christians as believing in nothing?

Why does it bother atheists what others believe? Shouldn't atheists stop meddling and being nosy and start being respectful of others beliefs and keep their anti-Christian thoughts to themselves? Why provoke upset toward your fellow man? Are atheists trying to be the most unlikeable and most unpopular people? Is that their goal?

  • For those who converted to Christianity, what inspired you?

What did you convert from? How has your life changed?

If you did not convert to Christianity then why are you answering this question? This question is not for anyone who did not convert to Christianity.

  • According to 1 John 4:3, shouldn't we be calling atheists "antichrist" or "anti-christian" instead?

1 John 4:3 (New King James Version)

3 and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.

  • Atheist vs. U.S. Marine? What do you think of the outcome?

If you don't know GOD, don't make stupid remarks!!!!!!

A United States Marine was attending some college courses between assignments. He had completed missions in Iraq and Afghanistan . One of the courses had a professor who was an avowed atheist, and a member of the ACLU.

One day the professor shocked the class when he came in. He looked to the ceiling and flatly stated, GOD if you are real then I want you to knock me off this platform. I'll give you exactly 15 min.' The lecture room fell silent. You could hear a pin drop. Ten minutes went by and the professor proclaimed, 'Here I am GOD, I'm still waiting.'

It got down to the last couple of minutes when the Marine got out of his chair, went up to the professor, and cold-****** him; knocking him off the platform. The professor was out cold.

The Marine went back to his seat and sat there, silently.

The other students were shocked and stunned, and sat there looking on in silence. The professor eventually came to, noticeably shaken, looked at the Marine and asked, 'What in the world is the matter with you? 'Why did you do that?'

The Marine calmly replied, 'GOD was too busy today protecting America 's soldiers who are protecting your right to say stupid stuff and act like an idiot. So He sent me.'

    The classroom erupted in cheers!

  • Can atheists play devil's advocate to answer my question?

If we are still around when Christ returns and we all see Jesus coming down toward earth on the clouds of heaven, with angels sounding their trumpets and Jesus takes us Christians with Him, will you atheists then believe that Jesus is truly the Christ or will you deny what you witnesses with your own eyes and ears? Please give reason for acceptance or denial.

    I thought this was cute.

    RECALL NOTICE:

The Maker of all human beings (GOD) is recalling all units manufactured, regardless of make or year, due to a serious defect in the primary and central component of the heart.

This is due to a malfunction in the original prototype units code named Adam and Eve, resulting in the reproduction of the same defect in all subsequent units. This defect has been technically termed "Sub-sequential Internal Non-Morality," or more commonly known as S.I.N., as it is primarily expressed.

    Some of the symptoms include:

    1. Loss of direction

    2. Foul vocal emissions

    3. Amnesia of origin

    4. Lack of peace and joy

    5. Selfish or violent behavior

    6. Fearfulness

    7. Idolatry

    8. Rebellion

The Manufacturer, who is neither liable nor at fault for this defect, is providing factory-authorized repair and service free of charge to correct this defect..

The Repair Technician, JESUS, has most generously offered to bear the entire burden of the staggering cost of these repairs. There is no additional fee required.

The number to call for repair in all areas is: P-R-A-Y-E-R.

Once connected, please upload your burden of SIN through the REPENTANCE procedure. Next, download ATONEMENT from the Repair Technician, Jesus, into the heart component.

No matter how big or small the SIN defect is, Jesus will replace it with:

    1. Love

    2. Joy

    3. Peace

    4. Patience

    5. Kindness

    6. Goodness

    7. Faithfulness

    8. Gentleness

    9. Self control

Please see the operating manual, the B.I.B.L.E. ( Believers’ Instructions Before Leaving Earth) for further details on the use of these fixes.

    WARNING:

Continuing to operate the human being unit without correction voids any manufacturer warranties, exposing the unit to dangers and problems too numerous to list and will result in the human unit being permanently impounded. For free emergency service, call on Jesus.

    DANGER:

The human being units not responding to this recall action will have to be scrapped in the furnace. The SIN defect will not be permitted to enter Heaven so as to prevent contamination of that facility.

Thank you for your attention! GOD

P.S. Please assist where possible by notifying others of this important recall notice, and you may contact the Father any time by “Knee mail”.

  • Do the Islamic people know the United States is there to help?

Since the U.S.A. is represented by the eagle, how does the Middle East feel about their 9:11 in the Koran?

    Koran ( 9:11 ) - For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle.. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah;

    And there was peace.

  • Why do people get so offended by this Bible scripture?

Romans 1:18-25 (New King James Version)

    God’s Wrath on Unrighteousness

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.

24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

Did you know that referring to our Bible as "Buybull" is offensive, mean, religiously intolerant and prejudice? Is this really the kind of person you want to be? If so, why are you being a bully?
