What is a recipe for the white layer of jello?
I'm making layered Christmas jello and can't find the recipe for the white layer. I know it has something to do with sour cream.

I've seen it done with sour cream as well as milk. Here is a list of white jello layers and how it's done with the directions:

8 oz. cream cheese
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. milk
1 c. whipped cream, whipped or "Cool Whip"
1 env. unflavored gelatin
3/4 c. boiling water
1/4 c. cold water
Blend cream cheese, sugar and vanilla. Gradually add 1/2 cup milk. Dissolve gelatin in cold water; add 3/4 cup boiling water. Let cool sightly. Stir into cream cheese mixture. Chill until slightly thickened (about 30 minutes). Fold in whipped cream or Cool Whip. Decorate with fruit and chill.
