Is it legitimate questions or is it a marketing strategy?

India has the largest middle class in the world. It is upwardly mobile, as opposed to 'rich' nations like the US and UK which seem now to be in an inexorable downhill slide. So it stands to reason that there are potentially more Indians on this forum than Americans or Brits or Aussies. The Indian motorcycle industry also is growing at this point, while US and Brit companies are stagnating. That's why you see so many questions about Indian bikes.

Here in California where I live, none of these bikes are even available, except the Bajaj scooter (actually an old Vespa made under license). There is no market here for 100cc bikes, in fact there's only one 250cc street bike that I know of, the Ninja 250. Everything else is 500cc or above. I think this is true all over the US. Motorcycles here are seen (and marketed) as a recreational device, not a transportation device.

No that's been going on for a while. If you notice the questions from India all ask about mileage [miles per gallon], reliability, style [don't know why an Indian can't decide what looks good to 'em], and price. While questions from western Europe, the states and Australia all seem to be about top speed, which is faster, how do i make it faster and so on. If someone wants to create a buzz about these little weed whackers outside of India they would need to use a different approach.

I myself am a beginner but i would advice you register at warrior forum which is a free forum for affiliate marketing and everything related. Believe me, you will learn a lot of stuff there for free. The warriors(as members are called) are always helpful and this is like the biggest affiliate marketing forum, which big successful AMs use. I have been a member for 3 months or so now, and i can tell you that i have learned more in this short time than i had my entire life about AM. Good luck.

The Royal Enfields made in India are all single cylinder (I think) and no bigger than 500cc. I really don't know much about Bajaj. Its a mode of transportation for them.

In the questions I've read from them, I've never seen any talk about how great they are or particular features they may have that others don't. So, no, I don't believe this is any form of cheap advertisement.

Real questions looking for real answers.

The awareness that was raised in me was that their own market is large and the product available is either reproduction antiques or mediocre - both in quality and performance.

If you don't buy one they have failed. Plenty of good bikes out there besides the ''unknown'' ones.
