Sexual Harassment?!?!?! (Did I sexual harass him?)?

Ok, so i'm 14 year old girl and I look a lot older than I am and I met this 10 year old boy the other day that look's a lot younger than his age. My friends and I went to the mall with him and his older brother and a couple of our friends and I thought he was hot. Later that night he kept talking to me and acting like he liked me. So, then I sent him a text message asking if he liked me, and he said he did. And then I told him I liked him. I sent him a text saying, 'It doesn't matter if i'm like 2ft taller than you, I still like you :)' is this considered sexual harassment? By the way he told his parent's that he had a crush on me and that I liked him back, and his parent's were like, 'what did you do to make a 14 year old girl like you!' and they are really pissed off and said he is never allowed to see me again. I feel really bad about this, do you think I can get arrested? I did nothing bad to him physically.

Lol no. You didn't brake any law. His parents overracted but then at 10 but boys aren't dating 14, people seem to think that's weird.

No, you are not going to get arrested. You did nothing, lol. You saying "it doesn't matter if i'm like 2 feet taller than you" is not considered true sexual harrassment. It's barely considered harassment if he likes you back. Don't worry. His parents are probably just a little spooked that someone 4 years older likes their kid. It's just his parents being protective of him, not that you sexually harassed him. Don't worry!

No, you didn't sexually harass him. Sexual harassment is unwanted sexual advances.

However, at your age a few years makes a big difference. You should probably not go after boys who are so young.

Additionally, I would like to take this opportunity to caution you to be safe. You are at an age where you will flirting and start dating. Remember to have self respect and don't do anything that you are not ready to do.

Yes. At-will employment means there doesn't need to be ANY reason for termination, though one is usually given as a courtesy. In this case, the boss was displeased with the employer's conduct and professionalism (or lack thereof) in the workplace. That is a perfectly legitimate and acceptable reason to discontinue employment. It would be hard to get criminal charges pressed without the cooperation of the victim, but can he be fired for his conduct in the office? Certainly. Also, in the case you presented, SHE may not have felt violated, but perhaps he offended someone he presented the photograph to? Showing naked pictures, esp of a woman one knows, could easily make one feel ill at ease or uncomfortable...and this is an EXTREMELY valid reason to fire an employee. His conduct was inappropriate and unprofessional.

That is not sexual harassment! Sexual harassment is for example there was this guy one time who kept grinding me even though I kept moving away and said "I'm riding you Shaylen!" That's harassment. He was such a jerk. Anyway, no, you just told a guy you liked him. No harm done. However, I would look for someone your age or a tad bit older, he's too young for you. Agree with Jen though.

Why in the world would you be interested in a 10 year old boy?

    No. It's just a 10-year old stereotype.
