Debit vs.Credit card question?
Hi All,
I am getting my check tomorrow, however, do not have enough in my checking account right now. If I use my debit/credit card as credit today for shopping will it go through?
It a B of A Visa check card.

yes. BE AWARE if your account goes negative, the bank will TREAT the transaction LIKE an NSF check. But the merchant won't have to deal with the NSF check and fees. The merchant will get their money for the purchase but you will pay the bank the charges for overdraft and negative balances. It's like a payday loan with interest of 100% a.p.r. So like a $25 or $35 Service charge.
