Isn't it sick how people can take tragic events (like 9/11) and make it into a joke?

No one ever called the Budapest massacre of 1956 a tragic event.

The massacres in serbia and montenegro were never remembered.

You can't tell me you know of the Hama massacre of 30k innocent people in Syria.

Or of Algerian Village Massacres of the 1990s that claimed the lives and loves of over 10,000 innocent humble, simple rural, people

You never remember the Hundreds and thousands of people die every year from street violence.

Or Africa the land of death and war

    Yet, You remember 9/11

I'm not saying importance and veneration is quantifiable in respects to how many people died

I say. Just be happy these mere 4k people are remembered for their death. It is a beautiful thing, truly it is. For innocent people die all the time at the hand of others. and get nothing but their sullied and sacrilegious mass burials, and faceless recognition as victims to a mass homocide

Also, Its sad and almost sick to see how the media and government has perversely turned this tragic event into a popular icon to promote patriotism and to transcend laws and base them to subjectivity.

Be like the people that make these jokes and live on with life. People die all the time. They kill each other all the time. They fall as slaves to their own human nature all the time. Its natural.

The sooner you can put it behind. Loose any relation to the event.Or just become plain ignorant. The more satisfied and happy you'll find yourself in life. And maybe, you will die the way you where meant to die, not by the hands of other people

Also, No it is'nt sick to those that are ignorant. They dont't know any better.

These dead people don't exist in the minds of those who haven't any recollection or trauma from the event. To them Its just an other historical event with a slight undertone of tragedy. Just live with it.

  • I don't get it, there must be something to it for them, but I would never laugh at a joke about an incident that took so many lives from their families and society. I would be angry to hear a joke on 9/11.

Well, joking is what helps some people through hard times. In some cases, if they don't make a joke out of it, then they probably would be crying.

Not really; laughter and crying are very similar physiologically and have many of the same cathartic benefits. We all deal with grief differently.

Yes, I agree! It's also sick how people make jokes about diseases (such as cancer). Some people have a sick humor sense.

Yeah, Its just something for fools to live their life.

I think they should go back and start making fun of their childhood again.

  • I have seen some people do that & i just walk away from them when they do that. I can't stand ignorance.

  • its the sickness thtat gives it its oomph humor

i kno it is bad tho :(
