I'm a bit lonely and the older I get the more it hits me. I'm in college and I've never really hung out or dated any girls. I talk to them on a basis, which is fine, but it never gets farther than that. I know I'm missing a key step in building a relationship, or getting one to like me, but I have no Idea as to what that may be.I'm drowning in an ocean of loneliness here. Each day it grows worse. I lack the initiative, and will to break out of it.

Guys and Girls of yahoo answers. At this point I'm basically begging you for advice, personal stories, experience, and ways at which I can at least be good friends with a girl, least to say just hang out with one.

You input is direly appreciated and anticipated.

Life has gotten endlessly dull. I commute 45-60 minutes back and forth from college. Any one I can be friends with all live on campus which is why I usually don't bother to drive up there. My old friends have moved away. No one is accepting my job applications(applied to over 30 different places). I somehow manage to keep myself occupied with playing video games, the piano, reading, and facebook. But its not enough. Im not making freinds, finding dates, or keeping myself socially satisfied. I go to club's but all I see is whores, drug addicts, and people with their dates. I keep trying to do the stuff that kept me happy in highschool, but the only thing I get out of that is people telling me to grow up.

I've ,perhaps, reached a precipice in my life and the climb is difficult. Which is why I, an eager 18 year old, turn to you, members of yahoo answers, people less frail than I, to beg for advice on growing up, finding happiness, finding love, finding freinds, and finding success.

Im curious to know

I have to pay for a ticket. The only way to get to court is by having my brother drive me there. He has a drivers license. The car however is insured to my name. Can he legally drive me to court even though he isnt insured?

I need to know.

Im really intent on getting a good grade. Hes only joining to be in a class with me. This guy is really anoying but still a good freind. I want to tell him not too without pissing him off.But its not working. What should I say?
