you should wear your dad's shirt if the gray one is that bad but maybe you could wear something else that your mom got you or you could let her do your hair or pick your shoes. something to make her feel just as important as your dad

And in order not to hurt your mothers feelings tell her you're saving the grey shirt for another special occasion.

Wear the cute one that you like and tell your mom that you are saving the one she gave you for another day. Then wear it when you're with her so you won't hurt her feelings.

Wear the one that is cute. Tell your mom that the one she got isn't quite your style, and you want to make the most out of gifts she gets, so ask her if she'd mind if you exchanged it? Also, seriously, learn to type a sentence, please.

wear whatever one you want and you could always change your shirt through out half of the day!
