engagement/wedding ring?

Left hand, third finger in from thumb. You wear your engagement ring and wedding ring on the same finger. Some women choose to wear both rings and some choose just to wear their wedding ring once they are married.

Both rings go on her left hand between the baby finger and the middle finger. The wedding band is worn first (closest to the heart) and then the engagement ring, so walking down the aisle most women wear the engagment ring on the right hand so the wedding ring can be placed properly, then move the engagment ring back over.

Some women can't wear them both on the same finger. My mom's wedding band is really wide so she wears her engagement ring on her right hand.

In North America both are worn on the left ring finger. Once you're married you wear your engagement ring over your wedding band on the same finger.

However in Eastern Europe (and probably other places as well)

they wear them on their RIGHT ring finger.

traditionaly both are worn on the third finger of the left hand,and yes,most women wear both on the same finger once married-I wear my eternity ring in place of my egagement ring
