Can I run a game that asks for a 2.4 GHz processor speed when I have a 2.2 GHz processor speed?
I'm asking because I am having a hard time finding a laptop on cnet with a processor speed of 2.4 GHz. The average that I am finding is 2.13 or 2.2 GHz.

maybe, maybe not, try to download a demo of the game and see if it works.
might work fine, be a little laggy, or not work at all

50/50. Some programs will still let them install even if the minimum is not meet. Others will not.
The real question is will the game run on a 2.2 Ghz processor. Probably not. Or if it does it will very slow and jerky and probably keep freezing up the whole computer.
As suggested above, if you can find a demo/trial of the game, try it. If it works, great. If not, it did not cost you anything to try it.

is that the minimum system requirement or optimum? you can always run a game it might not be able go to max settings but about the only thing that will prevent you from being able to run a game would be the video card. for example if the game is in direct X 11 but your card only supports 10 or under. everything else isn't quite as important. it just may not run at the maximum settings.

it depends. is the 2.4 ghz the minimum or recommended. if its minimum then no. if its recoommended then yes if its dual core. ram and the gpu are really really important.
