HELP! i accidently ate some sidewalk salt!?

Well, i like to eat snow. so it was fresh snow on the ground. so i went outside to eat some, and i had forgot my dad put SIDEWALK SALT, on the ground. so when i was eating it, my mouth started tasting funny. So im just wondering.. AM I GOING TO DIE!!!?

i feel all jittery, and lazy.

btw, i drunk a pop, and ate 3 cookies..

    Stop worrying you are going to be fine. Drink lots of water. You are feeling strange because you are so worried. Now go and get yourself a couple of glasses of water.

    You need to look on the bag and see what kind of "salt" the snow melter contains. Drewfuss is right, most of it is calcium chloride and that is toxic.

    Just drink a lot of water to clean out your system. No more pop.

    Well, I don't know but sidewalk salt is calcium chloride where table salt is sodium chloride. so they are not the same!! I'm not sure what's in the other ice melters.

    No you are not going to die. Sidewalk salt is the same exact thing as table salt.

    If anything, all of your worrying will make you sick before any of that ice melt will. So stop worrying. You'll be alright.

    well contact poison control and ask them wat to do and your probably gonna be fine since you drank and ate something afterwards
