  • can't right click photo's. Why?

I have an old computer (win xp) and I want to copy photo's to a disk to transfer them to newer computer. Problem is, whenever I right click to try and move them, it just closes the whole my pictures folder. How do I get around this? If I do succeed in getting them to disk, will this infect my new computer with the same issue? I'm not a technophile,so laymans terms please.

  • 94 camry ignition switch?

I have a 94 toyota camry 4 cyl. 2200 engine. sometimes won't turn over. If I turn ignition switch to start several times, it will eventually turn over. The obvious answer is that the ignition switch is worn out, but I wonder if there is something more? Since everything seems to be computerized now, the old diagnosis sometimes don't prove out. Just wonder if any one has experience with this particular problem.

  • How do I stop dry rot from progressing any further.?

I have an old bookcase which has been in my family a long time. it was in a damp basement and bottom was rotted. I cut off the rotten part and redid it, and it's been in dry warm place ever since. Recently I noticed that there was some dry rot progressing from a small area I had left on before. How do I stop it from going any further.

  • Home built solar collector question. Thermodynamics?

We've built a flat plate solar collector and it seems to work pretty good, But I'm not an engineer and need some info. we set it up outside just to test it and let it draw in ambient temp air at about 30 degree's Farenheit. on a sunny day we got output temp of about 100 degrees. so a gain of about 70 degrees. on an overcast day we only gain about 20 degrees. What I want to know is if I draw in 65 degree air from the house instead of 30 degree outside air, will I still get the same temperature gain, or will the output temp stay the same? so on overcast day, the internal temp would be cooler than the house air. once the house air warmed the absorber plate to 65 degrees, would we then get output temp of 85 degrees? or would it just cool the inside air?

  • How do I add a link to my answer?

I used to have a roundabout way to link a webpage to my YA answer. While on the webpage i went to file, send link by e-mail and the link went directly to a new email message on my write screen. then I just copied and pasted it into my answer. I now have a different email (Yahoo) and can't figure out how to get a link on my answer anymore.

  • what could I use to glue the door seal back in place on my van?

the rubber door seal was originally attached with nylon plugs that popped into holes in the door, but when the door froze shut and I yanked it open the seal cam off tearing the rubber aroung the plug things. I think some cars it's just glued in place, so I wonder what I could use to glue my seal back. It's an old vehicle, so don't really want to buy a new seal.

I know for example that steel weighs about 480 pounds per cubic foot, so I can calculate how much a particular chunk would weigh. I would like to be able to do the same for gold. How many ounces does it weigh per cubic inch? this is not for homework, I just want to know for my own use.

  • How to spot clean a wool coat?

I have a vintage wool navy pea coat that I wear for casual. it's gotten several spots on it. I don't remember what the spill was, but it's kinda whitish. I need it tomorrow so don't have time to take it to dry cleaners, and can't afford to anyway.
