If a new ceiling fan stops working, is there any way to get it going again?

Depends on why it quit working to begin with. If the motor is burned up then you will need to replace it. Check and make sure the light switch on the wall that controls the fan is turned on. Also make sure someone didn't pull the string on the fan that turns it off and on didn't get pulled to the off position by mistake. Make sure your breakers in your electric box are in the "ON" position.
