stretched ear dilemma... weeping & itchyness?
i stretched my ears from an 8g to a 6g about two weeks ago, they went in pretty easily, my left ear was a little more difficult but its my problem ear. well since then i have been experiencing some weeping and tenderness when sleeping in the left ear. i've been cleaning it with dial soap and doing sss when i remember.. today, however, i was cleaning it and took out the jewelry to get a good cleaning in, when i grabbed my ear, i noticed a lump off to the side of the piercing between the fistula and where my ear connects to my face... is this just a pocket of puss or is it more serious? what should i do?
when i push on the lump, puss comes out of the bottom of the fistula..

Zits are very common with gauged ears, they can also get pretty nasty looking. Stop cleaning it with dial soap but when you take a shower just take the earrings out and when you get out put them back in also alcohol works good when your just doing a regukar cleaning... Just try and keep your fingers off other than cleaning. If the lump does not go away within 2 weeks you might consider going into the doctors.
Hope this helps

its probably a keloid. i have never been able to pierce anything on my body due to always getting keloids. keloids are scar tissue that your body over-produces when it gets all defensive over something like, oh i dont know, a piercing. they are just scar tissue, not puss or anything else.
Source(s): if not a keloid, it could be one of the things on this website: http://tattoo.about.com/od/disease/a/keloids.htm
