Do you think T-mobile is bad because of this?

I have had T-mobile flexpay (no contract) for about 3 years and I've been paying 60$ a month for limited 600 minutes and 1000 texts. Now they've just came out with a no-contract plan 60$ a month for unlimited calls and texts, same thing I'm paying but unlimited. October is when they came out with this new plan and it's now almost January. I called T-mobile customer service and asked why they have never even attempted to let me know about the change in plans and her response was they advertised it in commercials or they usually send promotions in the mail, and well I don't have TV and I never got anything in the mail, but don't you think T-mobile seeing that I'm paying 60$ already for my plan that they would let me know I can do better? Sounds like they're ripping me off, what do you think?

    it is business...

they are going to try to get as much money from every subscriber that they can possibly get... if you went over your allotted minutes you would pay overage fees... so they are not going to just come out and give you a deal... that hurts there bottom line...

land line companies were still charging people fees for leasing phones from them until a few years ago when the politicians got involved... people have had the ability to purchace there own phones since around 1980... some people just continued to pay for the leasing fees...

that does not make them a bad company... but other interactions that i had with them in the past make me feel like it is a company that i did not want to do business with...

Frankly, people on here seem to talk a lot of bad about T-Mobile, but I have never, in my 5 years with them, had a problem with them. If you don't like the plan you are on now, change. It's not that hard to do it online. So stop complaining and get over it.
