Why is everyone so obsessed about religion?

You can't really be upset, god and religion are a virus that we have not found a cure for yet.

It is not that christians are obsessed with religion. But they want everyone to know that your faith is a serious issue and don't take it likely. Just as you find a good sale and want to share it with others the same goes for belief in God!

If your friend is a Christian then he acted in a way contrary to the teachings of Christ, and very much against the behaviour you should see in a believer. We are not all like that. I have to say, I'm very worried about christianity in America, it seems very militant and judgemental.

Because like politics, it's a touchy subject where different people have different ideas on why the world is the way it is and what should be done about it. And they have an emotional investment in their convictions.

hmmmhmmm hehe xD *sorry laughing at you cause of your first sentence* why is everyone so obsessed because everyone has one! you can be christian or catholic or hebrew or protestant it does not matter you have one and if someone does not like the one you go under they could kill you for it, its the world now a days where have you been? this is hell on earth. just like culture and having jewish and black slaves cause they are not white men

first of all stop lying , secondly , people are obsessed with God not with religion and its because he gives us all the answers to the questions every human being has always wanted to know , i knew the TRUTH by the tender age of 22 , praise God , people search for these answers all their lives .

Because religion is a big part of people's lives. People fly planes into buildings because of religion. That person who punched you in the face seems timid in comparison.

Religion has the perfect ingrediants for insanity. It's killed more people than crack! Religion is a drug and it should be classified as more dangerous than drugs like cocaine and heroine. Expecially since it's killed more people.

It is because your friend isn't acting according to the teachings of his holy book and you would have been quite in your rights to knock his teeth out on the floor

Religion provides unreasonable and unaccountable justification for aggression in normal people who wouldn't think of being offensive otherwise.

LOL, that dick! I think it's because a lot of people see religion as the most important part of their lives.
