Sometimes I'll buy an album purely because I like the front cover, having not heard anything of the music or the band itself.

Yeah, actual, I do. when I see an album with violence, gore or something i'm drawn to by using a band i do no longer comprehend approximately, I at once exchange into fascinated interior the band. i do no longer come to a determination if this is stable or undesirable by using the disguise however. And Debauchery's a German loss of life steel band. no longer satanist.

Yeah, that's how I got my hands on:

    - Liquid Swords

    - The Cold Vein

    - College Dropout

    - Funcrusher Plus

    All because of the cover

yes. nastradamus just looked whack, nas was trying to be too serious, it was all dark, and he used the queensbridge motif/background for the fourth album in a row...i still have yet to hear the full album. and i probably won't, considering what i've heard about it.

Not only by cover, but by title. "Big Bear Doing Thangs" is a great example
