How do you "tack" a tutu?
I have bought a plain, "pancake-like" tutu and bodice. The tutu does have a hoop, which keeps the layers flat, but I am afraid that when I'm dancing the layers will flounce and bounce more than they're supposed to. I know that "tacking" a tutu is an art form, but is there any way I could fix this problem myself?

Ok so you know the plastic clear things that come on your clothes when you buy them, the things that atach the tag to the garmet
that is a tack and you can buy a tack gun to tack the tutu so it stays in place and the layers stick together
another trick for tutus is to steam it
or hang it upsidedown in your bathroom, close the door and take a super steamy shower
just make sure not to touch it until your dry
good luck

i'm not positive as to what your asking, but if it's what i think. you can just spray hairspray in and around it. some people do stuff with like cornstarch and flour and all that. but the easy way is to just use some hairspray.
