  • Why is my music not playing while I edit using Sony Vegas Studio v.9 (trial version)?

I am a complete beginner to Vegas, but I am not computer illiterate. I have had my trial version for three days now, and since the latter part of my first day using it with a particular project, neither the music nor clip audio will play. Did I click on something, or is it a program malfunction?

  • What is the best way to resolve cat urine problems?

My cats frequently urinate on furniture, the floor, and clothing items on a daily basis. They have a litter box, and are allowed to go outside. Why do they keep urinating, even after I clean up the mess? I've used a few products, but they keep doing it. Any suggestions? Help?!

  • How much should be the asking price for this horse?

I'm helping my friend with selling her horse, Major. She's going off to college and doesn't want to let this horse just sit in the pasture.

Tanqueray, aka Major, is a 16.2hh Thoroughbred gelding who has papers with the Jockey Club (under Major Key), but has never been raced. He has schooled up to 3'3" in his younger years, but she has not jumped him in about 2 years due to injuries. He broke his left, hind splint bone in the spring of 2008, which was corrected by surgery and he is completely sound. He also has artheritis in his hocks, but it is controlled with supplements. He is a very sweet and forgiving horse under saddle as well as on the ground. He has been ridden and shown in many different venues (indoors noisy and crowded outdoors, in fields), and is very quiet under regular work.

We are trying to come up with a price, probably around $5,000. What do you think?

  • Is there anything that can help give my Ford Focus a little "boost?"?

    2001, manual 5-speed.

    2.0 L Split-Port engine.

    Standard factory parts otherwise.

I know next to nothing about modifying cars, so I would most likely be taking it to the shop. Are there any special parts I could add to make this little box on wheels have a little bit more zip??

  • How do you "tack" a tutu?

I have bought a plain, "pancake-like" tutu and bodice. The tutu does have a hoop, which keeps the layers flat, but I am afraid that when I'm dancing the layers will flounce and bounce more than they're supposed to. I know that "tacking" a tutu is an art form, but is there any way I could fix this problem myself?
