Being hungry a lot is normal for a newborn - just give her more formula. A "smidge" of rice cereal in her bottle won't "hurt" her but it's also not going to do any good at all. Look at the nutritional info on the side of a can of formula and the side of a can of rice cereal - formula is much higher in calories per ounce than rice cereal. And calories are what feed a hungry baby. Formula is also nutritious and rice cereal is basically just starch. Hungry babies need more formula, not bits of other stuff with no nutritional value.
Her constant feeding will settle down of its own accord pretty soon, most likely.

Not only will "giving her just a smidge of cereal in her bottle" hurt her, it will not make her sleep at night. Here's a brainwave - if she's hungry BREASTFEED HER MORE FRQEUENTLY! 3 months is at least 3 months too early for cereal. All she needs now is breastmilk (or formula). SHe is likely going through a growth spurt, just keep feeding her on demand, it will likely only last a couple of days. Nursing every hour is perfectly normal during a growth spurt.
Cereal not only has few calories and few nutrients, but it is high in iron which is constipating and can cause tummy upset. Adding cereal to her bottle is extremely dangerous and can lead to choking.

It's not a good idea. FIrst, cereal should never be put in a bottle. Second, at 3 months, a baby's digestive system can't handle anything but milk and/or formula. She's simply not ready for it yet. At 3 months, she's likely going through a growth spurt and her demand might diminish a bit in a few days anyway.

Cereal gets fed with a spoon, not a bottle. At 3 months it's normal for a baby to go through a growth spurt. Offer more breast milk/formula not cereal.

A normal growth spurt does not need filling up with processed cereal. It does need more frequent feeds.

Many people say to wait until about 6 months. I gave my kids small amounts of cereal starting when they were a few months and most other parents I know have done the same. It's really up to you.

of course -her digestive system isn't mature for another 3 mos. continue to feed her on demand & let her stay a babe for just a bit longer.

no, it's not okay to do this.........3 months is a very typical time to growth spurt

my nephew started to drink his milk wit the oatmeal cereal at 2 months and he did fine. it all depend on your baby. if you decide to, start off with very little and then gradually increase the amount as she gets older. ask your baby's pediatrician about it.
