Perianal Cyst Surgery - Why do I have no pain after surgery?

I had a perianal cyst surgery (open wound) 4 days ago and I still don't feel any pain! Doctor prescribed me Vicadin but I haven't had to use it.

I assume they gave me a long lasting anesthetic but from what I read, this should be out of my system after 3-4 days. I'm going on day 5, do you think this is normal?

What types of long lasting anesthetic could I have received?

You are worried cause you DON'T feel pain? Maybe you lucked out and the surgeon did a great job, maybe your pain threshold is higher than others. I had 4 wisdom teeth take out and was eating regular food that evening, never once took a Tyelnol-3 they gave me for pain.
