First off, let me just say that I am NOT computer saavy, so please bear with me...

Here is what I know about my computer...

It is a Toshiba Laptop, bought it new a year and a half ago.

I am running Windows but I am not sure what version.

I am connected thru Rogers Wireless.

And here is my problem...

    Sounds like my PC..hehe

OK you've either got a virus or Malware but one of them for sure.

You need to download an anti virus and a anti-malware software.

Check the links below and download the software and run multiple scans with each software.

    http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware...

    http://download.cnet.com/AVG-Anti-Virus-Free-Editi...

It can get very frustrating during the scanning process but try to bear with it..

You've got malware! If your task manager was accessible before, some malware has disabled it and other windows process. Keep in mind, NO malware protection no matter what you use is even 80 percent effective. Salvage what files you can to disk or something and do a factory reinstall of your system

the defender keeps scanning because it is trying the get rid of something probably a virus. you should save all you pics and documents and stuff like that to a cd then use the recovery cds the laptop came with to reinstall your operating system. befor you get your stuff back on from the cd, scan the cd for viruses because what you put on there may of been the problem

CCleaner is basically a dedicated cleaner which cleans the unwanted files in your computer...for eg. when you download or open any file or site, at many places it is registered in your computer that is not needed by the computer to work.....its a wonderful software that frees unwanted space...

Norton is basically a dedicated anti-virus.....

I sugess to still install CCleaner

You can find a free download of ccleaner here http://bit.ly/1sJimp9

you get a malware or spyware issue.

Go online and find an anti spyware , like malwarebite or superantispyware. you might need to use an other coputer if you have one. download the anti spyware there are a lot free , but try superantispyware or malwarebit ,

use a usb blash drive and install it in your computer clean your computer

    and it will be ok

if you can't boot your computer

try to start it in safe mode .

    how to do it.

restart your computer and keep touching the F8 key it will give a screen to choose wich boot option you want choose safemode , install your anti spyware and clean your computer

than restart your computer uodate you antispyware and clean it again.

    it will work
