What kind of kitteh is this kitteh?
This is my cat, he's 17 pounds of fat and fluff. He is very affectionate and always wants attention. He loves food and stays indoors mostly. He also is a social kitty, likes people a lot. Can anyone tell me what kind of cat he is? http://s782.photobucket.com/albums/yy106/kristin21...

Your kitty is so sweet looking. :)
Like most pet cats today, your cat is not of any particular breed. He's a Domestic Longhair, and a very handsome one at that. Purebred cats are very far and few between, so if he was a purebred, he would have come to you with papers from a breeder.
And I'm sure you know, but I'm stating this so others know, too- obese cats are at a great risk of developing diabetes, heart problems, kidney issues and more. I would throw him on a diet ASAP, or bring him to the vet to make sure he's not hypothyroid. You want that handsome kitty to be around for a long time, but he won't be for much longer if he weighs 17 lbs!
Best of luck.

Unless you have papers to prove otherwise he's not likely ANY breed at all. He's a "domestic" a cat of no particular breed with Blue Point markings.
Obesity is nothing to be laughing about. It causes all sorts of health problems including diabetes, heart disease, arthritis and kidney disease. What are you feeding your cat? Odds are it's a cheap dry food made mostly of corn and you leave it out all day for him to nibble on. Switch him to a healthier food made with real meat as the main ingredient and with little to no grain. And don't leave it out all day long - just give him a handful of it twice a day. Also give him canned food daily as a dry only diet is very unhealthy. Here's an article about helping your cat lose weight http://www.littlebigcat.com/index.php?action=libra...

Since you obviously don't have a registration, papers or a pedigree, your cat is just a domestic cat. He almost looks like he's a DMH (Domestic Medium Hair). They are mixed cats and can show attributes of dozens of breeds. (British Shorthair with this long fur??)
He looks like a Koala with the black spot on his nose ^^ Keep an eye on his weight, and love him the way he is.

probably just a mixed breed. he's very cute. I had a cat who was only a little bigger than that, his name was onion and he was the greatest cat ever.
Don't worry about what kind of cat he is, he's your cat, and you should love him and spend as much time with him as you can :)

A well-fed kitteh!
He's probably mixed, none of my 4 kittehs are pure breeds either,
but I wouldn't trade them for kittehs that are.
