Accuplacer math placement test question.?
I'm trying to place into college level math. I have been studying my butt off and on my practice tests I am Acing arithmetic and elementary algebra. The next level is college level math and it is ridiculously hard for me to understand. I have been trying to learn it for a few days, watching YouTube videos etc and I'm just not grasping it. So my question is, if I Ace arithmetic and elementary algebra but do poorly in college math, would it place me in college math? I'm thinking it would if I aced the previous level and showed sufficient understanding in elementary algebra. Right?

I am pregnant, baby due in Oct. Have a 20month old. I am a LPN. My husband will be graduating with his associates in industrial maintenance in May, he will also have multiple welding certs, including pipe welding. We want to move to North Carolina.I'd have to work full time and dh would work full time. We'd each make about 35-40k annually starting out, each. I called around and good day care for two babies in their age range next year is about 2k a month. A nice place to rent is about 1k a month. Our cars are paid off, I do have a student loan bill of 150/mo and dh has a loan of 100/mo. So then wed have our phone bills, utilities, gas and food. Do you think its in our budget to move there?
1 AnswerPersonal Finance6 years agoDo all of intact female dogs "mark" or urinate to show sexual availability?
We have an intact Golden and we are having issues with her marking the house. Specifically when she goes into estrus. We took her to the vet and rules out medical issues. My husband never spayed her but I convinced him its the best idea. It's 400 dollars since she's so heavy and 5 years old. We are saving up, but in the mean time we have has to resort to barricading her at night and when we re gone because she continues to urinate on the furniture and carpet. Do ALL intact females do this? Or only some?
2 AnswersDogs8 years agoCat food that can help bulk up/harden cat's poop?
* I asked this in the cat section and not one reply. I know the dog section is more popular and people in this section tend to also be knowledgeable in cats, so I figured I'd try here next.
I have had my cat on purina for awhile now and he has been having issues with the consistency of his stool. It isn't diarrhea, it's pudding-ish. He goes daily and his poop just isn't well formed, it's just like a plop. He is healthy, no signs of dehydration or watery stool or changes in activity/eating habits. He just needs a change in his food to help form his stool better. So today I switched him to blue buffalo "mature" cat food (dry). It doesn't have fillers, by products and it has omega 3 and 6 which I read is supposed to help with irritable bowel. Do you think this food will help? Or is there another food or remedy you recommend to bulk up his stool?

4 AnswersCats8 years agoAdvice on how to limit my dog's fur odor?
We have a golden retriever and she gets stinky easily. No unusual odor, just that typical dog smell dogs get after awhile. I love my Golden but really not a fan of the odor. It lingers on the throw blankets we put over our couch and my hands stink after I pet her. I was wondering if you have any advice on how to keep her smelling fresh? I use this dog spray that is supposed to be used in between baths to help keep her fresh and I febreeze and wash the throw blankets frequently. But she is still stinky. Any other suggestions?

Why is AMC replaying The Walking Dead in black and white? To me it makes the series less appealing. I love the series but taking away color kin of takes away from the show. What is their rationale?
7 AnswersDrama8 years agoQuestion for believers and atheists alike.?
Our milky way galaxy alone has 400 BILLION stars. Each with their own solar system and planets. You can't even comprehend how many other "earths" there may be. Look up at the night sky and you see these little white specks, we know these specks are actually incomprehensibly large. Just inconceivably enormous. But our minds can never really grasp it. When we do actually GET IT, the size it humbles us. As Carl Sagan once said Astronomy is a humbling and character building experience. Just imagine how many other planets orbit around these mega giants, all the billions upon billions of planets, some which may be just the right size and distance away from an average star to produce life similar to our own. Look up at the sky and imagine the possibilities. Once you really understand it, what room is there for any God found in any religious text written on this pale blue speck?

"Meet this creepy yoga teacher, Yogi Oki-Doki, who wears ugly clothes and lives on a farm with Rasta, a Jamaican 7 foot rooster (Cock or Gallus Gallus), and a talking cow called Alandal(??)(Is that right? It's maybe called Halandal. However Rasta calls it Sister MooCow. I don't know.)
Yogi Oki-Doki is a creepy dude who teaches yoga to children. He gives them instructions for different yoga positions while he, Rasta and Sister MooCow watches them and make moaning sounds... I get the impression Yogi Oki-Doki and Rasta likes vegetables as well... "
