Accuplacer math placement test question.?

I'm trying to place into college level math. I have been studying my butt off and on my practice tests I am Acing arithmetic and elementary algebra. The next level is college level math and it is ridiculously hard for me to understand. I have been trying to learn it for a few days, watching YouTube videos etc and I'm just not grasping it. So my question is, if I Ace arithmetic and elementary algebra but do poorly in college math, would it place me in college math? I'm thinking it would if I aced the previous level and showed sufficient understanding in elementary algebra. Right?

Probably, but it also depends on what kind of math classes the college you attend offers. You might get placed in a intermediate algebra, pre-calculus, or trigonometry math class. Without knowing more about your school or the program you are taking it is hard to say.
